Pine Ridge Campground I have to say has been my favorite campground so far. It is a quiet, small site with peaceful surroundings. The people are so sweet and friendly. It just has the cutest atmosphere, it made me want to stay longer, which is saying something for my wandering self. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, quaint campground! They had decorated already for Halloween which added to the atmosphere. This is one we will definitely try to come back too!
Campsites; The sites are close but not too close. When we arrived we were led to our site and asked if we needed help, so nice. They had wooden platforms to put in front of your steps, fire ring, picnic table and they also had cinder blocks around in case you needed them to level your home away from home.
Facilities: The site offers a very nice restroom with showers, laundry facility, game room, pool and dog park. They have a catch and release pond with some mighty big Koi in there, Richard tried to fish but didn’t get anything.
What we learned: To relax! We had a blast and met new friends, Judy and Randy Bishop, and hung out with cousins, Mandy and Lisa Brown, and Brenda Brown around the campfire one night catching up. Thanks everyone for the fun times!!!
Area Attractions: Honestly we were only here for two days and did not really explore too much. However, we were able to catch up to some long lost cousins of Richard’s who he had not seen in over 40 years and they took us to dinner at Los Mexicanos which had awesome and abundant servings of food and really good margaritas. See link below. There is also a very nice Camping World located in Spartansburg about 25 minutes from the campground.
