Right now, we are sitting in a hotel in Evansville, Indiana, tired and road weary, but also getting more excited about our destination. We started out this morning in Charleston, West Virginia, meandered through Kentucky and going across most of Indiana. We met some new friends along the way, one even came up to us at a gas station having saw us at a rest area and looked up our website, pretty cool. Bill and his family are full-timers as well and our heading out to Colorado Springs, shout out to Bill and family be safe on the roads!!! Also shout out to Jean who’s heading up to Chicago, be safe, thanks for the comment and our trailer is a 1996.

Well I can say one thing its not only hot on the east coast, when we pulled into the welcome center in Indiana it was 100 degrees out, poor Rufus took off for the grass, too hot on the asphalt for him! We have seen some beautiful trees, and more trees and more trees along the way, got to love the highway! Tomorrow is another day and not sure where we will stop, we are hoping at some point to get into a cooler area to give us a chance to boondock for the first time but traveling with everything stuffed in the trailer its sometimes easier to just stay at a Marriott, thanks to our son Zak and his great discount offered to parents of employees!
