We just finished up a two-week vacay, leaving Betsy in storage and hitting the road. Wow two weeks fly by when your having fun, but I must admit I have missed my mini home. As I type this, I sit in our last hotel room for a bit and Richard is out retrieving our travel trailer. Just a quick update while I enjoy a bit of luxury. After leaving our travel trailer, Betsy, in Santé Fe we hit the road, traveling to see the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, San Diego, the Pacific Ocean and Saguaro National Park. Whew…

I will have pictures and updates about our visits, but although it has been awesome, it has also been a challenge because in the midst of traveling I picked up a bad upper respiratory virus which I felt I needed to share with Richard. We only got to camp once at Lake Mead before catching the bug and neither of us really felt like sleeping on the ground and having to hike to the bathroom so, I guess the camping equipment will have to be further utilized in the future. Funny, Richard recovered faster then me, I am still hacking away. Maybe because I just had to get in the Pacific Ocean! Well that’s it for now. We would appreciate prayers as we head back to Virginia. Only 2400 miles to go…
