So, I guess God does answer prayer! We are to go to wandering again. My spirit soars! Somewhere in my family line there must be some nomad blood. Poor Richard, I do not think he ever realized what he was getting himself into when he married me! Alas, poor soul puts up with my wanderlust rather well even though he fights it sometimes. Oh, back to the details. Yes, we are going to be on the road again shortly, but not too far away from Williamsburg, but far enough to put some peace into my soul.
In just a few short weeks we will be heading to the mountains of Virginia, to a little old town called Broadway. It is there that we will spend the summer and some of the fall, at least until mid-November. There is a KOA; Harrisonburg/Shenandoah KOA to be specific, nestled amid the mountains in Shenandoah Valley. We will be just a short drive to Skyline Drive, Harrisonburg and Waynesboro where my bestie lives. This is convenient for her as well since she has chosen me to be her Maid of Honor in her upcoming nuptials.
I will be working in the office full-time and Richard will be working part-time outside. Rufus will just be hanging out, that lazy ole’ mutt. That is if Lindsay does not convince us to let him chill with them for the summer. So, expect more to come, we plan to explore the area when we can and hopefully be able to sock some money away so that Richard can get the bigger rig he is dreaming about.
Since it is so close, we took the opportunity to take a trip up to explore the area and for me to spend a few days with the bride to be. Enjoy some of the pictures above of our exploration so far.
So, for now we ask for prayers of protection as we travel and get settled.
More to come and travel on!
