Blog New Beginnings...

First-Time RVing Thoughts

September 4, 2016

This is my 1st attempt at writing a blog, it’s also my 1st time living in a travel trailer and workamping. This year has been a season of change for my wife and I, after working in construction for almost 30 years, I have left that field and am gonna try and support myself by workamping, my wife left her job and will be doing the same. Giving up the security of having a job, health insurance and a roof over your head and deciding to live in a 24ft travel trailer and work wherever we can find work is kinda scary but we both have spent time in prayer and feel that God is leading us in this direction.

My wife Denise and I are celebrating our 30th year of marriage this month and we figure that it’s time for a new chapter in our lives. God has seen us through good times and bad times, he has encouraged us when we were unsure of what to do, held our hands when we were scared and also rejoiced with us when things were going good. Whatever happens while we are on the road, one thing that we can count on is that God through his Holy Spirit will guide our path and be there to help us with every decision we make.

I will share more of our story next time but before I go, I would like to ask for your prayers that Denise and I stay close to God through our life on the road and that we follow His leading when he puts opportunities in front of us to share him with others, also, if there is anything we can pray for you about, don’t hesitate to ask.
