We have arrived! All set up and ready to work at our new post at Shenandoah/Harrisonburg KOA in Broadway, Virginia. As we get adjusted to our new surroundings amid the mountains of Virginia, we feel blessed to have the opportunity to meet new people and use our skills to ensure others have a great vacation. So, we start tomorrow to train in our positions. Denise will be in the office and Richard outside maintenance. This KOA is in a quiet location but not too far from a town that has a Walmart, Food Lion, Right Aid, Family Dollar and some mom and pop stores. A lot different than Williamsburg, VA.
As we settled down last evening from setting up, we were sitting outside when around the bend and into our campsite came three chickens and a rooster. Go figure. Not something you see every day. Richard went out last night to try out the Uber situation. Not sure how that went since he is still sound asleep as I write this! Just wanted to give a bit of an update before we jump in.
Update to my update: I will try to keep things up to date but we have bare to no internet on site… so I have to wait until I go see my bestie Stacy to upload…
More to come and travel on…
