Well we are finally at a place where we can hit the road again. This past year has seen some good times and some bad times, thankfully we have made it through. First stop Williamsburg, Virginia! We have decided to take a week off and just hang, pray and hope that we hear God’s calling to the next leg in our journey. Richard was able to procure us a spot at the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center in James City County. It has been a bitter sweet day, sad to leave a spot we have been at and made friends, and excited and a bit apprehensive of where the future will take us.
Something I learned in the past week, is to not look at the past, nor the future, but take the time to live in the moment. God’s Word tells us, “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19. I have a difficult time sometimes remembering that ultimately God is in control. Does this mean that we will not make mistakes? Will we not misinterpret what God is trying to show us, the path he would have us take? But we do know that in all things He is in control.
Not a lot more to say at the moment. We do ask for prayer for safety and guidance. Goodbye Harrisonburg/Shenandoah KOA and hello to the next step in this journey!
More to come and travel on!
