Time Flies… Literally!

May 8, 2017

Well maybe not literally, but sometimes it feels like it! We have been back in Williamsburg, Virginia for going on three months and it seems like just yesterday that we arrived home. So many plans, so little time. At least that is how it seems. So far, I have worked at two different places and still looking for the right fit. I think sometimes I am not satisfied in the work situation because I feel like I am supposed to be doing something different. I got the bug! The travel bug! Unfortunately having the bug and actually acting on it can be at completely opposite sides of the coin.

First there is finances… no small task. In order to even live here in Williamsburg, it takes quite a bit of money. We have been blessed in the fact that we have found a wonderful campground that we have fallen in love with and I am working part-time there doing housekeeping. I never thought at 55 I would be still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up, but alas here I am. So here we sit. Our goals are: to get Richard straightened out health wise, to hopefully buy, at some point, a larger RV and then to hit the road again.

Second there is finances… again no small task!

God is in control, this I am sure of, even if I do not listen all the time. But we will see where each day takes us and we will still be being living the RV life and I guess in the end that is all that matters. We have time to be with our kids, although they have busy lives and we do not always get to see them much, we do know that we are near at least. So, I must get out of my rut, per se, and you will be hearing more about our lives here in Williamsburg shortly.

More to come and travel on!
